Overall the college infrastructure is good. Also, the placement ratio in the past few years is been good for the computer Engineering branch. Admission is done by merit list according to the CET percentile. The Cutt of the current year for computer Engineering was around 91 to 95 per cent. The college is considered one of the best engineering colleges in Pune. The college is affiliated with the University so the exam pattern is decided by the University.
MESCOE is a well-known college for technical courses. Few branches increase the placement ratio. Also, the faculty is very intelligent, talented and helpful. Most of the teachers have done PHD in their respective domains so students get much more information about the subject with the syllabus provided. Exams are taken by the University as mid-semester and end sem but the college takes its mock exams to practice for these main exams. Also, the labs are well equipped the lab staff is very friendly.
The placement ratio is quite good in MESCOE. Rather the first that fascinated me to take admission in college was the placement ratio. Well-known companies come to college every year and the highest package for computer Engineering is 20 25 lakh per annum and the average package is 6 to 7 lakhs. The college placement cell is very helpful and active.
The college has a good campus around. There are so many trees and so much greenery on campus. The grounds are also very big and good. MESCOE library contains more than 40000 books related to respective domain that helps students to enhance their knowledge. Also, students can borrow a specific book for a week. The college takes two fests in a year. First is named Zankaar which is a very famous fest in MESCOE where all the days are celebrated in a very joyful manner and all the cultural and sports activities are held. And second one is the departmental fest which is organised by the respective departments. There are so many clubs in college such as GDSC, Roboclub, ECC, and Codestrom enhancing the creativity and leadership in students. Hostel admission is done on a first come first serve basis. There are 4 and 8 sharing rooms for boys and 2 and 3 sharing rooms for girls. The hostel also provides a mess for both times which is optional. Both Hostel and mess fees are affordable in comparison.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
