- The best thing about college is that the professors are very humble with the students .

Dislikes
- Bad thing is that the strike driven by the non teaching staff.
- Another bad thing is that they don't provide ac in the classrooms.
Remarks :
The good thing about my college is that my college ranks 21 in the NIRF college ranking. This is one of the top science colleges in Delhi University. The bad aspect is that the nonteaching staff are going on strike and they close the labs and library. The cutoff is based on the how many students who have applied for the college and for the particular course. If you have 300 + in adding physics, chemistry and maths. You can get enrolled in my course and for CS hons you have to score around 350. For getting enroll at Delhi University you have to take CUET ( common university entrance test ) after your 12th then after the results you have to register for the DU seat allocation system through the CSAS ( common seat allocation system ) after filling in the right combination of colleges of your choice you can get college according to your CUET score. I get this college in the very first round of CSAS. The cutoff is also changed according to caste .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to know and study Computer science so i had two choices first to do CS hons and second to do Physical science with computer science. So according to my choice filling and cuet score i get this college and that particular course. The faculties of my college are very skilled as some of them have their PG from Delhi University and some of them have their PG from IITs like IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay. Faculties of my college are maximum professors and some are associate professors. Professors having the experience of more than 20+ years and some are teaching for more than 25+ years. The university exams are not so difficult that you can easily score good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opt for any internship but colleges provide many internship opportunities like guiding new students who want to get enrolled in Delhi university this is a paid internship you will get 1000rs for 6 months.
Placement Experience :
You can get placement opportunities if you have in-depth knowledge about your subjects. You can get job opportunities in web development, python programming, C++ programming, AI and ML, and Machine learning.
Campus Life :
Everyone knows that the DU colleges have one of the best college life. Many things are happening in the college. There is a proper Fest season in all the colleges of Delhi university. you can easily go to other colleges' fest. They also provide students with opportunities in Sports, they properly conduct sports in a dedicated month mostly it is conducted in October month. Colleges also provide library facilities to students, you can easily access books from the library and can issue books to take a book to your home. There are many societies in colleges for enhancing the student's skills like for photography-phobic students there is a photography society, for singing students there is a singing society, for science there is a society that provides students to know about science.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated
