- The infrastructure is alright, there are buildings in whole city, campus life is fun with interactions with different colleges.
- The most fun is utsav where cultural happens and the interclass competition between batches of different years. The ganesh chaturthi is on different level.
Dislikes
- The dislike is we dont have a campus life as buildings are scattered all around the city, 1 st year campus in bejai, 2nd year onwards its attavar and lighthouse
- We have to travel, by auto a lot although buses are there but still.
Remarks :
The factor that played a major role was its affiliation to 4 hospitals despite being a deemed college making it the best in India. I had to write neet exam wherein I scored 550, at the time I joined the cutoff was 530.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course maybe because of my family, but then I started to enjoy it, it will give you a thrill every day for every patient you see. The faculty is well qualified and seems to have a different experience level. The teaching method is through presentations along will peer teaching, seminars and PBLs. The term exams are almost every two and a half months, difficulty level is like if you have concentrated in class you can clear it. The fee hike is after 2 years so it might increase in 2024, cost of study is almost 80-90 lakhs.
Placement Experience :
You would places in college itself. There are postings in different departments for variable timings, the pay is around 30k which is mandatory to complete. It would be rotating in different hospitals, and all students have to serve in the hospitals.
Campus Life :
The fest that happens here is Utsav in April, its a combined fest of both the branches Manipal and Mangalore. The library here is huge with a wide variety of books on every subject. We also get an online type library through which we can access previous year's papers and e-books journals. The classrooms are well equipped with LED screens, the practical labs have modern microscopes and all samples of specimens. The sports complex here is called Marena, which has almost every sport including basketball, football, cricket volleyball, futsal, badminton, table tennis, squash, handball, and a decent gym. There are different clubs surgery, medicine, orthopedics, media, and a lot more organizing activities all year long. The hostel is different for 1st years and the food there is okayish but for 2nd year the food is good in the boys' hostel mess. The ac room including the mess costs 156000, without ac it's 130000.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
