- It is well maintained with good security and staffs including the hostel with friendly staffs and good freedom
- Amazing Marena which is the sports area with facilities to play almost any sport Football , basketball , futsal , squash, tennis , volleyball , table tennis etc
Dislikes
- Lack of a common campus. The hospitals, hostels , college and sports area are not under a single compound it is spread around the city .. though at a easily approachable distance
- The course is not an easy one so one should be ready to work hard before entering the course
Remarks :
NEET was the qualification exam for entry into this course i had a score of 596/720 in NEET 2020 The reason to chose this college is the wide variety of exposure I get here. The clinical postings are in Wenlock District Hospital which is a govt hospital as well as KMC Attavar which is a pvt hospital and also Lady Goshen Hospital which is a government OBG hospital so a wide variety of patient exposure is there
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty here is top-notch.. it comprises of few of the best professors and doctors in the country with unique teaching styles. The teaching method comprises lectures and SGTs ( small group teaching ) clinical postings and SDL (self-directed learning )
Internships Opportunities :
Students who excel in the field of academics have exchange student opportunities where they can apply to universities abroad and an experience the teaching style there and learn more about the styles of medical management there
Placement Experience :
The course itself includes a mandatory internship after completion and passing of the final year examination. There is no campus placement as such but workshops are held in which students are guided to their future paths be it NEET PG, PLAB , USMLE or any other path
Campus Life :
The social life is quite good at a medical college you can't expect yourself to completely be immersed in co-curricular activities yet there is a wide range of intra-college and intra-university fests and competitions both sports and arts and also academical. The college also encourages participation in various inter-college programs. There are also a huge number of clubs present
Hostel Facilities :
There are mainly 4 hostels associated with the college First is the Bejai hostel which is a separate hostel for 1st-year students with a common compound for boys and girls sharing a common ground and mess then for 2nd year there is the Kaprigudda hostel for men. Which is quite good a typical men's hostel with fine food the Sturrock hostel is a mixed hostel in different buildings same compound with individual rooms and good food and also Nanda Giri Hostel for girls

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
