My review for Career Point University
Likes
- I like faculty they were very nice to me and they were helpful
- Campus is good environment of campus is good campus is surrounded by tress and grass so it’s very peacefull
Dislikes
- I disliked my classmate most of them were not nice to me for no reason and infrastructure there were cracks on wall of some classrooms
- It was very hard to find a free room to sit during our break canteen used to be full during our lunch break so there was a management issues
Remarks :
It was near to my home they were providing the course that I was interested in and also my friend suggested to me this college that it’ll be good for you and you can start your computer science journey here without any problem.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to study computer science since I was a child and the faculty is very good every teacher is very helpful and the teaching of teachers is amazing mostly after 4-5 months before the starting of the semester we give exams there is no hike in fee or any other policy. CP Star plus is a scholarship that some students get by giving a specific test before admission i enrolled myself in that and I had a scholarship that gave me 20% less fee.
Internships Opportunities :
I was in solitaire Infosys and excellence tech there I was web dev I learned about every aspect of web development and also learned basics of the Python java and everything i made chess games as project in my college and some other small projects such as complaint management system banking system etc I was working alone on these projects so I did everything from frontend to backend everything.
Placement Experience :
You need more than 50% in your 12th and more than 6.5 cgpa to sit in the placement there were a lot of companies such as CS Soft solution that offered 3lpa and hoping mind they offered 4.75 lpa this is the highest package they offered when I was in the university percentage of a student getting placed is low from my class there were 17 students and only 4 got placed I might stick with my job after degree.
Campus Life :
There was a huge fest that we used to organize every year between Nov-Dec. There was every type of book available in the library history to computer science. Every 2 months University used to organize a badminton cricket tournament for the students there were a lot of groups and clubs in our university i was vice president of my club media communication club. I was not in the hostel I had no idea about food or rooms.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
