Detailed review on GIT college and the hostel
Likes
- There is a free EV charging station in the college campus.
- College timings are not hectic it is from 8:30 to 3:30 for 1st year students.
Dislikes
- The college campus or the building seems old or not attractive but it is fine for me.
- There is no hot water facility in our boys hostel.
Remarks :
The good aspects are there is no raging in both the campus and the hostel. The seniors are helpful and kind. There is a free EV charging station on the college campus. The bad aspects are you don't get a hot water facility in the boy's hostel and in the newly constructed 3rd floor the WI-FI and RO water facility is not provided till now. The parking lot for the students is pretty dangerous due to the fear of branches falling on the car and causing damage as there are many trees in our parking lot l
Course Curriculum Overview :
The cut-off for CS branch GM CATAGORY is 8000 - 9000 rank in KCET. The facility is very well-experienced and good at teaching. There are three exams in GIT IA 1 IA 2 and finally sem end exam The level of difficulty increases from the previous exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, you require some internship before getting into the campus selection.This year the offers are 800+ and for last year's batch, it was about 1200. It is better to visit the college website or the campus before getting into the college.
Placement Experience :
I am from the 1st year so I do have more knowledge about that but according to the seniors the companies offer good packages for the students the highest package is about 22lakhs. And the average package is 6 lpa.
Campus Life :
The library is very well maintained and full of informative books. There are so many copies of the books that the book you want is available at any time. In the hostel, you will get a chair, a table, a bed, and a big locker for each. All the rooms are of 3 sharing.

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
