The location of the college is good although it's on the outskirts in the rainy season, it feels like heaven. Also when you come here you have to go through a small procedure of admission in which you have to submit all your details and then submit the fees. Also, you'll be asked to enroll for an id and library card which you'll get once the college starts. There are teachers and other staff who will brief you on every process
So basically the first thought of choosing an IT stream is just that it has a keen future also I want to open my startup so this course will help me in enhancing my skills. Also, the staff of the IT department is very good and well educated almost every teacher has done mtech. There are exams almost every month like unit tests and prelims and midsem and endsem. The difficulty level of exams is average. Also, there are so many scholarships by the government that will help you to study without paying a high amount but that also applies only when you have a domicile of Maharashtra
The placements and job opportunities are good in our college. Companies do come to our college mainly mass recruiting companies do visit in our college. There is a separate placement cell which assures you to give more than 20 job interviews if you have good marks. Our college also promises to support startups but I don't know much about that
The campus life is also good, which means you have the annual fest named MALHAR in January. Apart from the annual fest, there are also small programs at every event. There are clubs for everything. Also, we have a huge cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball ground construction is going on. There is a club known as GDSC which will help you learn the skills in the field of coding or management and many more. The GDSC club have their seminars quite very often. Also if you are opting for a hostel, think twice because hostel facilities are not that good. You'll not get a 24/7 water supply from the month of march to Jun. Also, there are other drawbacks as well.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
