The factors that made me choose this college were that the opportunities the college was offering perfectly aligned with my passion. So the admission process is quite easy, first, there is an essay round, then a college entrance exam known as SMAT then when you clear both of these rounds you are shortlisted for the interview round after which if the college finds you compatible enough, they offer you the admission!
I chose this course as I had a keen interest in sports and commerce and being this course the ultimate mix of both, I decided to pursue this as a profession. The faculty at IISM is the best in the industry, they have the experience, techniques, networks, and knowledge above all. So each set consists of two examinations that is internals and externals. The difficulty level is moderate as all the things that are taught in the lectures are there so the most important is to attend the lectures. There are scholarships and financial assistance for economically unstable students.
Yes, I'm currently pursuing an internship at a sports firm where I handle their backhand operations. The stipend they are providing me is 5,000 for a month. This opportunity is a platform to learn so many things and get top-notch experience working in the industry.
The placement and job opportunities are very good. The only reason for this is the college has now established for over a decade and the networking and trust it has built help the students grab the best opportunities in the industry. Our founder being an ex-Indian cricketer adds glam to this!
The life at the campus is one to never forget. Some so many events and occasions make college life one to remember. The participation is maximum and the support of the faculties and management in these events is also to be proud of. There are also so many inter-collegiate events be it sports or social which you can be a part of! So the college connects the outstation students to the PGs which are super nice and best for them.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
