There was a written nmims cet. And then a counseling session if you pass the exam. The discipline of this university was what made me select this over a lot of other top universities for engineering. The academic pressure is exactly right and the curriculum is perfectly wholesome.
I chose BTech CS which is a 4 year programme with wholesome training. All the faculties are well qualified with esteemed PhDs or even double PhDs and at least over 10 years of teaching experience. All the teachers are comfortable teaching in the way their course needs and the student's needs. There are semester finals with each semester having 2 midterms i.e. 6 official exams per year plus the practicals also teachers are very encouraging and keep on testing our abilities with surprise tests. Shirpur campus is a very perfect place with just the right amount of fees and a perfect infrastructure. The cost of study is pretty manageable compared to other colleges
I've opted internship off campus and full time for 2 months at a software development company where I'm working on my project for a cricket academy client who wants remote software and database for their academy so that all the paperwork can be digitalised and accessed only if authorized.
There are pretty decent placement rates on campus and off campus too as the college has a good name. Companies like Google, TCS, cognizant, Oracle, Samsung, IBM, etc are the major companies for this campus.
Campus life is something not to miss. In the even semester, we have all the fests and activities Ambiora: the tech fest (January-February), Flavium: the sports meet(February), and Protsahan: the cultural fest(march). And to add there are always NMMUN in January. There is a huge 2 storied library with every and any book you yearn for. There are the best sports facilities like football and cricket separate grounds, basketball courts, lawn tennis courts, swimming pools, volleyball courts and other indoor sports. With that, the extracurricular activities like industrial talk The social group run by the students are called EOSO( each one saves one) a student ran bodily for the underprivileged or disabled kids in the nearby localities out of the campus. The hostel is one of the best parts of living on campus as it provides almost five-star facilities. If you want to live independently I would suggest no as the campus hostels are way less expensive and less hectic.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
