Admission is done based on the MHT-CET score. For the Computer branch, the cutoff was the 80 percentile and for other branches, it goes to the 75 percentile. You have to go through the CAP admission process to get admission to the college. It is the best college considering the percentile I got.
I chose computer science because I had an interest in problem-solving. The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. So, all the exams and curriculum are followed as per SPPU. The faculty is good at teaching and has in-depth knowledge of their subject. There are two main exams considered each semester one i and other end-sem of 30 marks and 70 marks respectively. Other than this exam there are practicals and unit tests conducted. I have been admitted to college through the Open-EWS quota so I got a scholarship from the State Government and I have to only pay 50% of my tuition fees.
Placements are good. The average package is 3.5 to 4 LPA and the highest was 9.5 LPA for this year. The hi in 2022 was 40LPA. Various Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, KPIT and many more visit the campus every year. Nearly 100% of students get placed. Various Training and Placement activities are carried out every semester to make students ready for placements.
The Campus life is good if you are active. There are technical clubs like Google's GDSC, Microsoft's MLSC and many more. The annual cultural fest Nakshatra is conducted in February. Sports activities are not widely organized but yearly one sports event is organized. The college has a centralized library and food court which was opened recently. The campus is lush green and has beautiful lawns. The Hostel facility is only for girls and boys hostels are private at tback side of campus. There are many options for mess and food quality is average.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
