- The campus is amazing beautiful gardens everywhere, places to sit and study and walk around. There is a cafeteria for all the necessities like food, stationery etc. Faculty is very friendly and approachable. The infrastructure is good and conducive for learning.
Dislikes
- Restrictions regarding going out of the college campus. Otherwise no dislike.
Remarks :
Well, that was covid year and our selection was based on our 12th scores we had to go through group discussions and case studies and had an orientation program online, where we had the opportunity to interact with our faculties, had some mock interviews, creative writing tests, communication skills enhancement classes. The admission process was very much smooth despite online communication. We had to book our seats as fast as possible. What helped me were my past skills at school and more of staying updated with the current affairs of that time. Also, we had the admission team of the college to reach out to for any inconvenience.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well to be very honest and not bluffing, our faculties were extremely supportive and went out of their way to help us understand the subjects. They were kind and patient. Only one semester was online rest were offline. We had a wonderful classroom learning with faculties from various fields and enriched experience. We could contact them even after class hours for any help. The faculties were all PhDs and the teaching method was presentations and classroom discussion we also had acknowledgement to various study materials both pdf and hardcopies. The teaching method was smooth throughout the semester, we were given assignments to ensure we kept up with the everyday learning. Exams were moderately difficult and on time as per the academic curriculum. The fee is quite pocket-friendly just like any other private college for B.Com and no I didn't need financial assistance. Also, we had time for other things like hobbies or side courses. So yes I vouch for this college.
Internships Opportunities :
In Bcom to be precise, internship opportunities came for Sales and accounting too. They had to achieve targets in sales and in accounting they had to work in CA firms. They were given a good stipend like around 10000. Projects depended on the students or sometimes the company offered. The best part is they can do internships in the college campus as well as in various departments under the assistance of the staff that too paid internships.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria depend on the companies and of course the student's skills and grades too. Recruiters like ICICI Bank, TCS, Mahindra, etc come for placements on our campus. For Btech students the packages are higher and companies for the same come. The average package is 6-7 Lpa. Most students opt for placements or they prefer higher studies post their completion of under-graduation. I chose to do my Post Graduation hence I opted myself out of the placement drive.
Campus Life :
We have Gajajyoti in March or April and also have monthly Flash Mobs. There are various events and you are free to participate in any of them of your choice. There are ample of books related to all fields in the library and you can issue them whenever needed. Classrooms are air-conditioned and no disturbance from other classes due to glass doors. Sports and all happen to like football, cricket, volleyball, etc on intra as well as inter level. There are various clubs run by students under the guidance of faculties like dance, band, sports, entrepreneurship, etc. The hostels are separate for males and females. There are deadlines on the campus post-event evening. The food quality is better compared to most colleges and as per the menu nonveg and veg both are served. Hostels are affordable for both acs and nonacs as per the student's choice. I stayed in a hostel but yes there are PGs nearby on the college campus.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
