It has a different paper in JEE. The cutoff for general is around 200. The best part about the university is its location ( Delhi) which gives you the perfect exposure. The exam is totally aptitude and maths-based. The planning paper contains GK and visual-type questions. It's easy to prepare for.
I choose this course because totally practical course. Dealing with cities and their different aspects is fun. The college is worth its hype. Indeed when you come to the college, you will understand you are in the best place to study this course. The college lacks infrastructure but it gives u more experience and connections. Your value in the market will be higher than your competition just because you are from SPA. Faculties with their experience and tremendous hard work will teach you to survive ( I am not joking). The curriculum is different from the other colleges and will give you a better understanding of what you gonna do in the future or what you want to do.
There are 2 mandatory internships during the course. last time I did in WBHIDCO in Kolkata. It was my first office experience. It was unpaid (a government internship will not have a stipend). It was a pleasant experience. The internships will be for 6 weeks during summer.
Our placement cell is pretty fine. People generally like me don't apply for jobs immediately. I will complete my master's first. It is recommended to complete your master's before applying for jobs since it will pay you more.
Campus Life is fun. The college lacks infrastructure as I mentioned. It's hard to get hostel accommodation. But the interaction with seniors is the best. More than faculties in college, you learn while helping them or just going to their room for help. The culture is pretty friendly and open. Once you come you will understand why the hostel is the best ( even though it accommodates less than 20 % of the students.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them.
