I chose this college because it is one of the top colleges in India for the course I have chosen. The cutoff needs to be very high to secure a seat in this college. However, for that student who has a reservation, it is quite easy and can get the seat with a decent cutoff. Initially, I was not aware of JEE Mains Paper 3 but my father encouraged me to appear for JEE Mains Paper 3 i.e Planning and Aptitude.
I would say I chose this course out of the blue. I never knew such a course called planning existed before getting a seat in this college. But then, post joining the course, the classes were initially online. That's when I thought that the course was not so boring and quite an interesting one. The faculty here are quite approachable except for a handful. The fees are easily affordable for almost all sections of society. It can be made even easier if you can avail of a scholarship provided by the government or any other private scholarship. I have personally not availed any kind of scholarship.
I have done two internships till now during the course. One was in 2023 and the other in 2024. This means, that one internship needs to be done after the completion of 2nd year and the other is to be done after the completion of the third year. Yet, they are outside the college and do not have any connection to the college.
I am not sure about the eligibility criteria for the placements. However, I presume that there is a requirement of a CGPA of 6.0 to fall under the placement cell. There is a placement cell that doesn't provide any placements to the college directly. Yet, the process of getting a job for a planning student is quite easy compared to the planning student of other colleges because of the image of the college in the market.
The college has numerous cultural clubs, such as dance, music, singing, art, installations, drama, etc. The library is known to be one of the largest architectural libraries on the continent. Fests happen twice an academic year. One in April and the other in October or November. The hostel is a bad experience I would say because of its long distance from the college (12km approx). However, the food that is available in the hostel is decent.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
