My college is near to where I live, it is approximately 3km. The faculty is very good at teaching. Regularly scheduled lectures and practicals are conducted. A good strength of students study in BSC Computer Science in my college. The campus is also very good and I find myself equipped with education when I'm learning and gaining knowledge every day. The good thing about this college is that it is e-learning and becomes easier to learn and understand instead of rote learning. The admission depends on the percentage scored in the 12th or MHT-CET exam. The minimum cut-off required for admission is near about 50% as per my knowledge. I certainly had not worried about preparing for any rounds as they decided to admit me to the college based on my percentage score in the HSC board examination.
I chose BSC CS because I had some sort of knowledge of what I was doing and also had an interest in computers since a very young age. Also, the staff/faculty helps me gain more interest in studying the course. Qualification of the faculty is that they are accredited by SPPU so that's something we don't have to worry about while we learn. Teaching done by the teachers is also very good and easy to learn and study. The difficulty level of the examination depends on the hours we put into studying for the exam, however, my experience was somewhat on a moderate level as I was prepared for the exam because I attended the lectures sincerely and paid the necessary attention. The fee hike is also very moderate and average as I had to only pay 50000/- for my FY in college (GENERAL). I don't have any issues with the fees as that is the minimum amount we can expect from any college.
Arohan was the fest organised by our faculty/college. It was organised before the end semester exam in the month of February somewhere around 20-21 Feb. Availability of books and journals are on a very good level as I have taken help from previous year question papers from the library books. Sports and extracurricular activities are done regularly for the ones interested in the selected sports. I have no idea about the social groups as I am not a part of any. Although there are several groups from our course as well as the engineering course. I do not stay in any hostel.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old.
