- The food availability in the college is too good to be true and also when it comes to being student friendly, yes it is very affordable as comapared to the quality of the food is upto the mark
- The faculty of the college is very nice and supportive and interactive when it comes to problem solving of any kind for the studentsThere are also mentors for every 15 to 20 students to help the students throughout their tenure whenever they need
- Also the campus life is very peaceful and calm, it is designed in such a way that everything is easily accessible to all the students The greenery around, the environment, everything is satisfactory
- There is easy accessibility to everything outside the college which makes it easier for the students and also saves time
- The overall college staff is very friendly and helpful and understanding towards the students needs.
Dislikes
- The time table is not always flexible which sometimes causes problem to the day scholars
- The library doesnt have much extra course related books which makes it a little difficult sometimes for references and other stuff
Remarks :
The admission process for college under Panjab University is on a merit basis. And the cut-off usually goes very high based on your merit and percentage. However, till the end, if there are seats left there is a very high chance you'll get admission. Also if you've applied under aby quota like EWS/OBC/army/single girl child. There is a very high chance you'll surely get admitted if your percentage is decent enough
Course Curriculum Overview :
The total course fee is 34878. And if you apply for scholarships in schemes like single girl child or ews/obc there also comes a refund till a certain amount of your course fee. There also are many programs and internships offered by the college which are a great source of learning and developing new skills. The frequency of exams is 2 months as first we have the mid-semester exams and then we have the final exams The mid-semester exams are a very great way to prepare for the final exams. The curriculum is very well designed especially subjects like human resource management and e-commerce which makes it so interesting to read and learn about the modern world.
Internships Opportunities :
I did a volunteer campus ambassador program with Innovation Mission Punjab through my college as a Campus Ambassador and it was one of the best platforms I've ever been on. It encourages youth all over Punjab to have their startups and if they do, then it guides them further by helping with investments and mentorships. An experience I'll cherish forever
Placement Experience :
There is an active placement cell in the college that constantly works with different organizations to equip the students with the available opportunities and provide thorough guidance throughout. After this course, I will opt for post-graduation
Campus Life :
The annual fest is Meraki which is a huge event that contains a lot of competitions like hackathon open mic flash mobs etc. All the students are welcome to give their input. There also are many other tech fests dance fests Diwali fests which include stalls to engage student participation and encourage them to learn. The library doesn't have much extra course-related books which makes it a little difficult sometimes for references and other stuff

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
