This college is under the JOSAA counseling and is an institute of national importance. The placements of IIIT Ranchi are very awesome. If you want to be admitted to this College then you have to take the JEE Main exam which is held two times a year generally in January and February. Then you have to take part in JOSAA counseling and fill in the colleges based on your percentile. Physical reporting is held after the counseling in the allotted college. The closing rank of this college in the computer science branch is 32560 in JOSAA round 6 and 37131 in CSAB round 2. ECE is 40510 in JOSAA round 6 and 51726 in CSAB round 2. This college is better than any private college and also has some IT. If your rank is about 30000 to 50000 then you can consider this college.
I chose this course because the future of IOT and embedded systems is bright in India and also in other countries. The curriculum is good and the faculty is very supportive. The coding culture is very good due to seniors. Academics are also good. College does not provide any scholarships but the state government provides a lot of scholarships like MP government provides the whole institute and tuition fees and the UP government provides around 58000 per year. An NSP scholarship is also available which provides around 3 Lakhs per year. My friend also gets an NSP scholarship. If you get a scholarship then fees do not matter to you but if you do not get any scholarship then the fees are much higher totaling around 13 lakhs (tuition, institute, mess, and hostel).
I opted for any internship because I just completed my first year and in the first year no one got an internship. In the second year, some students got Internships but not good. In the third year, many students got the scholarships, and also one student got an internship at Google.
Placements are good in this college but in 2024 placements are not better because of economic crises. Even in IITs, the 2024 placements are not satisfactory. So don't consider 2024 placements. If you score above the 8.5 CGPA at the end you will qualify for all the placement cells. Google also came to the campus in 2023. And the highest package offered in 2023 is 83.3 lakhs per annum.
The campus life is not as good as compared to IIT and NIT. In all IT you have to compromise with your campus life. Our permanent campus is not built yet but It can be complete by 2026, Hostels are good, the hostels are separated from the college and away 5 km from the college campus and some hostels for the 2023 batch are in the college campus also but for the 2024 upcoming batch, the hostels are in Jalgaon. Hostels provide every necessary thing like wifi. In Khelgaon hostels the buildings contain 9 floors and every floor contains 3 flats. Every flat contains Balkani and 3 washrooms. Hostels are better than any other IT. Sports facilities are also good. There are many clubs in the college, like Saaz, Rangbaaz, Nritya Rashi, Art, and also sports clubs. For 2023 batch fets have not happened
I have chosen Btech in computer science and machine learning. Because it was my dream to become a software engineer. And I pursued it through IIT ranchi. For admission in that college you have to give an examination of JEE mains and get a good ranking o tthe basis of that ranking you will get admission in that course. admission process is quite simple you have to get offer later from jossa counseling which was the next process after qualifying for Jee mains examination. There is eight semester and in every semester you have to take an exam.Fee Structure Review.
For placements eligibility minimum 6 cgpa is good for job opportunities highest package is 1 cr and average package is 6 lakhs in this campus Percentage of students getting placements more than 75 percent per year they are getting after the degree
Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.
I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.
The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum. It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.
There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own
"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
