I was tempted by the marketing staff to take admission to that college. I got admission to that college through the jee main entrance exam but the college didn't conduct any interviews, group discussions, or written exams to get admission. There is no cut-off simply who has applied for jee main exam means he or she can take admission it's so simple.
Those who belong to SC, st, and obc they got scholarships from the state and central government. However, the college itself doesn't provide any scholarships. And coming to the fees the institute doesn't follow its comments They add extra fees as per their wish without mentioning any proper reason like the institute provides an industrial training program for 20 to 30 days for that we have been noticed to pay 5000 rupees but suddenly when we went to the account section for the clearance to submit the final year project they have added extra 5000 rupees for that stupid useless training program. one of the very bad things which always makes me regret that I made a big mistake by being admission in this institute is the faculties in our department CSE are skill-less, and no enough knowledge sometimes I feel like I'm studying in a school how can be a professor or lecturer from an engineer institute so dump they don't have the quality to be a professor of an engineering institute
No, I have not opted for any internship so I have no idea about it I can't mention the company and my roles, projects, and my tasks. Sometimes I think that I made a huge mistake who is responsible for it me and my col.
Better to not talk about the placement and job This year only 3 to 4 companies came to the college. Last year the placement percentage was 2 to 3 % only and this year it was 15 to 20% because of mass recruiting but the shameful thing is they advertise for 100% placement. The highest package for this year was 5 lakh something. For the internship, one student should not depend on this college because In our entire 4-year career I have not witnessed a single internship program from the college everything needs to be done on our own. I'm like a skillless engineer now I'm preparing for the civil service and that's my last hope.
Overall the campus life was not satisfactory sometimes I feel like the college doesn't have enough places, actually college has enough land but they're not developing it, Social Life club, and infrastructure. There is not a single club we never got a proper opportunity to interact with our seniors, and Social Life clubs are far more things. Infrastructure is medium to average the situation of the classroom they are improving now it's good. I have been in a hostel for 2 years because there are not enough rooms for all the students there is BTech, MBA, mca, etc a lot of students but not having enough rooms so after 2nd year I had to live outside with room rent. In the locality, anyone can easily get a rented room because it's situated in Bhubaneshwar city so room or pg can be easily available. For hostel food it's okay but they have no proper menu like they can change the menu every week by their wish.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
