- I do like the lecturers and the quality of study they are offering at the college
- I also like the encouragement from our department regarding department projects and so on
Dislikes
- i dislike the vacancy of canteens since there's always a mob at the canteen which delays our break time
- I do dislike the 85% attendance criteria as it restricts us from doing a lot of other inovitive things
Remarks :
Factors that made me choose this college are the campus building and the civil engineering marvel I did not have any GD but I did have interviews since i wrote the entrance exam CET it wasn't of any use to me, Good aspect are a few important and supportive lectures and the overall competitive environment created by our seniors which gets us into the flow directly The cut-off for the CET in my year was 30k in the first round and was extended up to 60k for general category students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The BE degree curriculum being basic to master and also implements and dives into a lot of practical aspects I choose this course as i was interested in all types of practical aspects of cs I can say that more than 40% of the faculty are PHD holders and the rest being minimum MTech qualified exam frequency being 2 per month and the difficulty level being medium total cost of study being almost 2lpa i did not get any scholarships
Internships Opportunities :
i have opted for internship and also i have completed one internship at research centre ajims mangalore, what we were made to do is to develop a web application for the college's employment management and faculty appraisal and also our current internship being the dev of the journal application
Placement Experience :
Placements and jobs this particular year were a bit less due to the current recession environment but our college has a good track record like that eligibility criteria being skillful and also a minimum of 7cgpa few visited recruiters being Infosys, Wipro, TCS and many others and the number of offers offered being 30-35 this particular year the placements have dropped to 30% from the usual 90% i am planning to get into jobs with correspondence an mba
Campus Life :
Life on campus is good with maximum interaction with seniors who are also friendly and there is nothing like ragging in our college social life also being pretty healthy hostel costs being 75k pa but I am a day scholar name of the fest being AKAAR which is a national level techno cultural fest and its conducted in the month of may this year stationary is always available for the books library is also available with more than 10k books sports are not given too much focus but extracurriculars do have their societies food quality at the canteen being good 3/5 stars

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
