Remarks :
Initially applied through CET for the Computer Science branch Submitting my documents of cet for the Admission officer he insisted as he said he will do the allotment process himself, to my surprise to found myself allotted to the Electronics and communication department instead of CS despite being eligible for Cs. When I questioned the decision of AO he said he would assure me branch change after the first year of engineering unfortunately due to the pandemic after the first year everything went online I could not change the branch, one more thing even though I got admission through Cet I was marked as management student god knows why.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I didn’t choose the course college it self allotted me this course I was interested in pursuing CS, and without an option, I had to get into ECE, The faculty was good till 2 second year, but in 3rd year we got our Hod changed, which was the downfall of ECE Dept, he used fail students deliberately in semester exams and the was so terrible in teaching! rest of the faculties were above average teaching you need to put in your efforts as well to get good grades.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship opportunities are available at the college they would provide a c internship where you have to pay them money for conducting an internship which is absurd, there will be no knowledge gained from that internship
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria are no active backlogs should be present but that will be biased if you are close to the placement officer, the highest package is 7 LPA Which isn’t brought by the college instead a professor through his connection called the company. For about 20%of students placed in sales average package would be 2.8-3.0 LPA.
Campus Life :
Campus life is really good if you have a good bunch of friends, unless there ain't a thing to enjoy on campus it's like a deserted area with two buildings over there, the fest happens yearly named Akaar which happens in May or December depending on the financial availability, and doesn’t spend too much on extra-curricular activities, will be below average event, no neighboring college will be interested in our fest. There is a small and good library where there are lots of fictional books as well as study materials available, the classroom is well equipped with good comfy chairs and tables, and a projector. There are clubs such as environmental, Radio and sports, and Cultural clubs but faculties don’t promote them much. The washroom is pretty good than any other college in Mangalore.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
