Our college is under university of Mumbai . the admission process is very time-consuming it lasts for 2 to 3 months. firstly students need to register on the website of CET Cell. students who have passed the CET and N examinations can apply for the admission process. students should have scored minimum of 50 percent in HSC examination for the same. I created a list of colleges according to previous year cutoff.
I have chosen this course because of my brother I got inspired by him he has also done a bachelor of pharmacy and then a master's he is currently working in Cipla as executive manager of the Mumbai branch the faculty in our college is highly experienced and most of them are PhD holders from the University of Mumbai. the classroom is equipped with a projector a computer and wi-fi connectivity for the benefit of students on campus there are two semesters in one year and each semester is divided into 5 months of academics. there are two sessional exams conducted by the college with both theory and practical examinations if understand the concepts properly the examination is easy for the students the semester examinations are also too easy if studied regularly I got the scholarship from the government of Maharashtra's official website Mahadbt OF 50 PERCENT of the tuition fees the scheme's name is Rajshri Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Yojna annual income should be below 8 lakhs
There are no placements as such in our college but our college has tied up with other foreign universities for further masters programs from our college few students are studying for masters at different colleges abroad.
the sports events are conducted in January the annual events are conducted in February and the prize distribution ceremony follows it. our library has a wide range of journals and books and is easily accessible to college students college creates a library card for each student. there are no extracurricular activities in the college as such there is a retract club in our college that participates in the donations work as well as events like tree plantation. the PG where I stay has a rent of 4000 per month and I share it with 3 more batchmates.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
