According to my marks, I was allocated to this college, it's a good college from my perspective because it has co-operative staff and HOD, as per for open this college has a cutoff of 85% in cet, and rounds were held online through maha-cet cell, I was allocated at 2nd round for this, all staff was good and they were helping me in my further process of admission.
I chose this course according to the trend going on in the market, and this helped me to choose this course for my future enhancement, all teachers are qualified for the degree of engineering from various well-known universities, and some of the teachers are from VIT college.
No, an internship is provided by the college, we just have to do it off-campus. Students have to do the internship on their own after the second year completion, there are a total of 3 projects done by any BE students and these projects are mandatory for every student.
Eligibility criteria are, that there should not be any back in the ongoing year and students must have at least 7 GPAs for applying company, various companies like Zicus, Nvidia, Amdocs, cognizant, etc are coming for on-campus placement.
Sinhagad is well known for its fest and is one of the biggest fest colleges in Pune, as it has a well managed fest activity held in Wadgaon campus, the library is not as that good because, it does not have any kind of different facility like lab-pc for study , various books for reading takes a lot of processes, there are limited sports activity held in this college, various clubs are provided which have different role and activity, the worst thing about the college is "THE COLLEGE HOSTEL AND THE FOOD", no change in the bhaji same for each day and have holiday on Sunday
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
