This college has a nice campus environment and proper infrastructure and classroom for students. The faculty is good. For admission, you just need to score above 50 marks in CET for law which is an entrance exam for all colleges in Maharashtra.
Always wanted to become a lawyer. I came across this college during lockdown at that time I had just given my CET entrance and went there to check the college liked it. The office staff is helpful for the admission process and helped me for all the online and offline admission processes. The first 2 years were online due to the lockdown but after for 3rd year offline started. Professors are really good and have very nice skills to teach. In a year we have 2 sem each sem is for 4 months and 5 th month is exams during that period teaches help to revise and sem exams are easy if you are well prepared. The cost of exam fees library fees etc are taken during year admission which is around 14 to 15k which changes as per year.
I had done an internship in the high court for 2k a month with a senior advocate. Initially, internship is unpaid but you get to know basic ground-level work from it after gaining sufficient experience you get stipend which starts from 2k to 10k and slowly increases
The minimum bar for placement is 60 per cent in the final year and 9 cgpa. Apart from that you need to have to clear all your backlogs if you have any. The highest package depends on which type of law you take whether corporate, criminal, or litigation but on average let's consider 1.5 lakhs to a minimum is 50k a month. My plan after getting my degree is to go for my llm abroad
There are a lots of fest and things happening in our college every month. One can take part in committee drama, moot courts and different events. Here we have active part in the circular activity and teachers promote taking part. The library here is big and maintained to study and one can even get books to read as well as study in the library. The campus is big there is a canteen and each floor has a well-maintained washroom and drinking stations.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
