- Campus life is excellent because the friendship which we get during our college days is unmatchable. Faculties are also very friendly and most of them are funny and crack jokes during conversation.
- Campus life makes it very special. Infrastructure of the college is also very impressible. Which helps in attraction of many students
Dislikes
- As it is a government educational institution it has some guidelines like 75% minimum attendance and the management is very strict in this case.
- The fixed uniform of this college makes it little dense the uniform is not attractive and I don't believe in college uniforms
Remarks :
Its success rate of excellent placement record. And it also focus on plastic polymers which are future. For enrolling in this college you have to appear JEE or OJEE exam or there is an another option of giving CIPET JEE. I have given CIPET JEE and qualified through this exam. And then the admission process is very smooth and the document verification round is also very easy. All the information were given earlier on email and very accurate processible management. It is also accessible by public transport also because the location is on the main road which makes it easier to travel daily for students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course basically focuses on the process to make an product. All the faculties are highly qualified some teachers are also from the respected institution like IIT & NITs. This college falls under the BPUT Board so exam is time to time fixed by BPUT board itself. And the practical education is also available you can get ground level knowledge with experienced faculties and get a chance to help them for making live products. During my tenure there is no such fee hike structure not sure about future. Scholarship are available for meritorious students. Also you can avail Odisha Govt Scholarship and NSP with ease. The management will guide you to apply and help you to go through the application. Also various competitions were organised and winners are also awarded with cash prize which encourages the students to be active.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship in Central Tool Room and Training Centre BHUBANESWAR for Hand Injection Mould. This helps me improve my knowledge. In many companies Graduate Engineer Trainee is given for the role.
Placement Experience :
You have to perform well in the college with no backlogs and atleast 60% in previous qualifying examination to be eligible for maximum recruiters. Students are allowed to went for internship during summer holidays but you have to arrange it personally but during 8th sem college will provide you internship and in many cases students also join their after completing internship. Many reputed recruiters like Reliance Petrochemicals, IOCL , L&T , JINDAL Advance Materials , Samvardhan Motherson and many more. More than 80% students were placed in placement round and other students are also opted for further studies like MBA...
Campus Life :
VIDYANSH is organised annually where various activities were organised and competition were held for around two weeks and winners were awarded in the final night. DJ and Fooding facilities are also provided that day organised by college management. In library all types or books and journals are available you have to make Library card which can be made with the help of only two stamp size photos and will be given instantly. Classroom are also neat and clean. In maximum number of classes Projector is installed which helps in making presentations. Sports Dance Quiz all are organised in VIDYANSH and also many quizzes are organised in regular intervals. Many clubs like Photography Nature Financial are available. And is run maximum by students. Hostel facility is also available both Boys and Girls hostels are inside the college premises and food quality is also quite good. PG and Rented room facilities are also available near College

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
