- What i like most about my college is it's excellent faculty, good academics and societies that will teach you real life skills.
- It is a North Campus College ,location comparatively better than other colleges.
Dislikes
- Lack of infrastructure, it could be better.
- Comparatively less area than other colleges of north campus .
Remarks :
KMC is one of the best colleges in North Campus, ranked 6th on NIRF 2023. I would suggest any science student who wants to get into the University of Delhi choose this college. The process to get admission to Delhi University starts with taking the CUET exam after that you must apply for the CSAS portal and select your college preferences there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Talking about my college or Delhi University as a whole, the course curriculum is good. Kirori Mal College is known for its excellent faculty in all the courses. Anyone who wants to study here should stop worrying about fees, it is minimal.
Campus Life :
Speaking about Campus life, in my opinion, it is best. We University of Delhi do not have a fest day, but a whole fest Season! From January to April, every college conducts their fest. We have a library. And many societies, that you must join for fun, learning, and good social life. Speaking about hostles, only boys' hostles are available in KMC, but girls can apply for UGHG Hostles provided by the University of Delhi.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
