Review of IIT BHU

- The campus life of college is good due to many activities and college fest
- Faculty are good because they have good teaching experience and have a good qualifications.
Dislikes
- In campus life somewhere the open campus experience is not good
- Infrastructure of the campus is okay because there is all old and historical building.
Remarks :
The good aspects of the college are that, it is one of the oldest Engineering colleges and Asia's largest residential University also IIT BHU has one of the strongest alumni networks and the placement of IIT BHU comes in the top four among all the IITs. The bad aspect of IIT BHU is only that, The IIT BHU has an open campus so everyone can come inside the college. For admission, you have first clear JEE MAIN and also you have scored at least 75% in class 12th after that you have to clear JEE ADVANCED after that the counseling happens and according to your choice, you get your college. I prepared only one year for this exam from a local coach.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose mining engineering because In mining industry you can easily get a government job . The faculty is very good they have many qualities and qualifications and most teachers are from IITs. In one semester we have two main exams sem and end sem and internals like viva, quiz , assignment, and project. We can say the fee of IIT BHU is high but after taking scholarship there is no problem of fee and you can easily get study loan . There are many scholarships in IIT BHU some of our alumni offered and government scholarship are also there.
Internships Opportunities :
Now I am recently completed my first year I have no any internship and project but after second year many companies visited for internship and they have good amount of stipend for students also many foreign are visited for internship.
Placement Experience :
In IIT BHU maximum students are eligible for placement and also the placement criteria fixed by companies.there are many companies visited in campus like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc and recrute many students . The highest package is about 1.68 cr and average is 19 lac and total 81 percentage of student placed . My plans are simple after completing my degree I will qualify Gate exam I'll able to get a government job
Campus Life :
Normally we have three fest in our college and these are most famous fest in all IITs first our culture fest 'KASHIYATRA' which happen in the month of January, second is our Tech fest 'TECHNEX' in March and the third is sports fest 'SPARDHA' in October. Library is good and books are always available some time in starting of the semester some book are not available due to shortage of book. The sport activities is damm good and there are lots of game offered in IIT BHU and sport competitions are organised by college like. General championship, sport day competition and summer camp . We have many clubs like photography club , cine club ,sport club , social welfare club , Robotics club , coding club etc and they all run by students. The are many hostel in IIT BHU and seprate girls and boys hostel . Mess food is good and the menu changes every day . Registration process is easy just you have to pay mess fee at the time of paying academic fee and the hostel is compulsory for every student .

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
