- Faculties are friendly. Parties like freshers and farewell are really fun in college. Professors clear doubts any time you ask for.
- College is very strict with their attendance and in design classes professors give suggestions individually.
Dislikes
- College campus is very small. Canteen is not that good also. Studios are not air conditioned.
- Some teachers get really personal sometimes. Your exam and viva results depend on your face value. Don’t expect any site visits from college.
Remarks :
The college is in a good location and the faculties are professional and practicing architects. Students those got degrees from this college are working in very famous architectural firms and getting paid really well. Many of them are working abroad. Students have to clear the NATA entrance exam to get admission. They can prepare for NATA by studying online. There are books available for the NATA entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had interest in engineering and design also then I found out about architecture in the Internet. The faculties of PMCA are very friendly and professional at the same time. the professors are practicing architects and some of them are doing masters. There are 3 exams in one semester (2 internal tests and one final semester exam). Teachers help in other architectural competitions. Our one-semester fee is 55000 per student. It includes everything.
Placement Experience :
Architecture doesn’t have a placement facility. Students make their portfolio and apply it in firms for jobs or internships. Students in 9th semester apply for internship and by sending their portfolio to different architectural firms and get paid around min 5000 to mac 15000.
Campus Life :
Campus life at PMCA is mediocre. Only during fest times, college is a bit fun. There’s a library available in PMCA for all kinds of architectural books, and previous students' thesis reports you can get there. Classrooms are not well designed. 2 fests are organized by the college in one year. One is September organized in September and the other is the annual fest. All kinds of sports, singing and dancing competitions are organized by students. All the students are divided in clubs and houses and they perform according to their houses. Club activities are done every week by club heads. Hostels are a bit far from the college but there are multiple buses for students so that’s not a problem. Hostels are good every room has separate bathrooms. I don’t have any problem with the hostel food. Hostel fee is not included in college fees that will cost 70000 (non ac) or 80000(ac). Students who don’t want to take hostel they can take rented PGs nearby hostel.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
