- I honestly dont have any problem with this college and i have enrolled to few clubs also like dramebaaz(acting club) and achintyam (photography club) and i have got some gud friends and gird Friend to keep me well occupied and moreover to that i study enough to get a sgpa of more than 8 so its also enough.
- I also love my hostel life because of the diversity of people in hostel makes it interesting and i get to learn so much about different cultures and traditions and all of us live like brothers, exception are always there).
Dislikes
- I dont like the fact that college doesn't at all give funds to clubs and all extra curricular activities which is a major downfall.
- I also have problem with the attitude of some teachers which is too much bad that it cant be sustained. They dont listen at all and do whatever they want. Some teachers dotn even know how to teach and they just come and write stuffs on board and go leaving the whole class confused.
Remarks :
The good aspect of this college is that it is very cheap and does not charge many fees as compared to other colleges with these courses. The bad aspect is that it has no recreational activities and not many active clubs and nothing entertaining and there is only one canteen that too closes after 5:30. Tge admission can be done by attaining 60 percent is boards and getting a cutoff rank in the JEE exam and can be done through JAC counseling. I studied for the JEE exam for 11 and 12 and got a 72,609 rank and got admission here in CSE through state quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my parent will and a little of my will. I think a maximum of the faculties are PhD holders and know too much of their subject but some teachers are just useful for nothing and just come to waste our time and we have to study their subject on our own only eventually. There are three exams conducted over a 5-6 month period called a semester. Two mid-term term terms exams (beat one is used) and sessional exams(final exams). Other than that many viva, practicals and projects, etc keep on happening. The cost to study here is a minimum of 32000 per semester 256000 for 4 years. No scholarship is provided.
Internships Opportunities :
The college isnt provide any internship itself, you have to attain one through your links. In 3 year college frees the student for some time which has to be utilized to do internships but does not provide any.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement are your GPA for shortlisting for interviews and your skills for passing them. As per Google, there is a 90 percent placement rate but the maximum are those minimal 3-4 lakh packages and the remaining are big. Companies like Infosys do mass recruitment. The highest package on campus is around 32 lakh per annum but the highest off campus is 1.6 cr per annum in America. The average package is around 5-6 lakh per annum. I will try for campus placement and if not satisfied will try for off-campus.
Campus Life :
The fest which is conducted in our college is called APRATIM and it happens every year and happens in November month. Yes library is also decent and you will get all the books of the curriculum that too multiple copies and many other books but don't have fiction or self-help books. Honestly sports section is the most disappointing and you can consider it close to null. There are 7-8 clubs focused on singing, acting, dance, technical, etc. As a hosteller, I can answer that nicely. Hostel food is decent We say it is bad as many people do because we get a different menu and it costs 108 per day whether you have a time meal or a whole-time meal and it is compulsory to give 22 days' money wether you eat or not and rest 108 will be added for each subsequent days eaten. Hostel fees are just 2200 for 6 months which is very cheap as compared to some PG or something which would take around 8-10k for a month. Availability of PG is less near college.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
