I gave NEET exam because I wanted to pursue my career in medical field. After the examination, I was selected by the government medical college of Satara...but that college was new. So I attended second round in which I got Vmgmc Solapur which is the current college in which I'm perusing MBBSs. The college was established in 1965 so it's pretty old which is the very good thing in aspects of medical colleges. So I decided to take admission in this college and I also heard lot about it like it has a very good ranking among the medical colleges of Maharashtra. The hospital which is attached to it also has very good patient flow which is important for the medical practice. Teaching staff, practical's, postings, events, workshops everything is pretty good. These were the all aspects because of which I selected this college.
I was interested in medical field when I was in 10th standard, which is why I gave the entrance exam. I'm perusing MBBS in Dr. VM government college Solapur right now. The teaching staff is excellent... I must say. They are pretty qualified like they are MD and MS. All are post graduates with a lot of experience. Some of them have the experience of about 25-30 years. And experience is everything that matters in medical field. Teaching method is good, they take theory as well as practical's. We get to study everything practically in our clinical postings also. There are 2 internals, 1 prelims and one final examination for each year. Also there are some posted examination. So curriculum is pretty good. Also we get scholarships from government from which the yearly fees get reduced from 1 lakh to around 25 thousand.
Every MBBS student have to opt for internship program after completing the course. The internship have to be done in the hospital which is attached to the college itself and it is a paid internship also. You have to complete the 1 year internship after which you get your license and do practice. You have to work for each department for the certain period of time.
After the 4 and a half years of main course, we have to complete our one year internship. The internship is compulsory for MBBS students and which has to be completed in the hospital which is attached to the college. Each student must complete the internship. After that we get the very good job opportunity and placements in India. After MBBS, you can peruse the job in urban as well as in rural areas. You can also have your own private setup or can also work in private setup. Internship is paid in which you get like 20 thousand per month. And when you peruse the job you can yet up to 1 lakh per month. After completing the course, you can also apply for NEET PG exam by which you can peruse post graduation.
Campus Life is very good because the crowd here is nice. Ragging is prohibited. Anti-ragging committee is also there. Seniors are very helpful. There are various clubs like art club, dance club, various sports clubs, etc. college infrastructure is pretty good. There are lecture halls which have the capacity of 200 students. Playgrounds, basketball court, badminton court are there. Currently I live in hostel of our college. Hostel room is provided for 3 people. Mess is also there in the hostel. Reading room for study is also available which is air conditioned. There are some canteens in college as well as hostel campus. The parking facilities are also provided by college and hostel. So overall campus is good and sufficient.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
