If I’m being honest then I would say that I chose this college for its abundant patient flow. I feel that if there’s sufficient number of patients incoming to your dental college then the students get to work on more patients and that way they can achieve greater clinical skills.
I chose this course because I wanted to become a doctor so what better than dentistry if you couldn’t get through MBBS admission. The teachers here in Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune are well versed and experienced in their particular field of dentistry and they only encourage us for betterment. Although I do feel that the exam fees are way too high here. 10-12000 INR for just one exam doesn’t really sound fair.
We are offered to do internship in the college itself. Every month or so we are transferred to a new dental department where we are supposed to work on different sort of patients like pediatric or geriatrics. I believe this is a good opportunity for us although they only offer us 2000 as stipend which just seems like a dime these days.
My plans after getting out of this college is to join a fellowship programme in implantology. Although this college offers all the postgraduate departments here I’m not really ready to give up another three years for post-graduation
The library here is quite well-equipped. But the fest and other extra-curricular activities are not so encouraged. Although recently they have just arranged inter-department cricket matches which I feel is a good thing. Also the students here arrange after-parties in supreme clubs of Pune for themselves and the faculty comes over to look after them.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old.
