The college is at my native place karad. I chose this college for its well-known research center and its encouragement to students for research. I appeared in the entrance exam which is based on a bachelor level syllabus. The admission process is quite easy. The cutoff depends upon the overall result of the examination. The level of the exam is easy. The college has good infrastructure and resources. The college has collaborations with big universities and organizations which helps students with their overall development. College is on hospital premises so we get detailed exposure to all medical and healthcare-related aspects. Few faculty members are not experienced enough for their role.
We have a very versatile syllabus that covers all necessary aspects of the field. All academic aspects such as theory practicals are application and research-oriented. The teaching method is pretty good. Few teachers are not prepared for their role. Most of the people are well qualified. Exams are very timely and strict. The college encourages students to research by providing incentives for every publication. Government scholarships are applicable for afew programs.
Placements are good. The college conducts a placement drive every year. They make good efforts for the placement of students. Guidance sessions for interview and communication skills are organized frequently. Dean has good contacts and gives attention to every student for their career.
The college has a big campus and amazing infrastructure. Every year they conduct a fest named Connaisance in December. The college has a floor library and a huge collection of books along with a computer lab. Smart classrooms are there. Good security is there. Free OPD for students. PGs and rooms are easily available around the campus at affordable rates around 2000 to 6000 per month. The monthly mess is 4000.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
