- First of all its college environmental is college wali vibe. Roaming here and there, bunking class, sitting and chatting with your friends in the canteen, playing sporta, you will enjoy your college life.
- South campus is much better than the overhyped north campus. I have my cousin in KMC North campus and I have visited several times north campus college in the first. But also the fest ka mahaul is very different you have girls roaming here n there. That's the main objective of boys going into another College fest 😂
Dislikes
- Campus should be more big. Also we have one more floor construction is going on as there is no space for constructing another building.
- Also you have no parking for your vehicle. If you are coming with your own vehicle bike or car you have to park outside the college as there is no parking for students. This is one of the main concern I guess this college have because your bike can be thefted from outside the college.
Remarks :
This college is affiliated to the Delhi University. To enter any college of DU, you have to appear for the CUET exam which is best on your 11th and 12th syllabus. I got into this college in the first batch of CUET so at that time seeing you was not so hard. Also you have to register on the separate portal of Delhi University which is free of cost. Now best on marks Delhi University will issue the first cut-off list and progressively second and third. Also, you have to submit your college and course preference according to yourself which can be re-shuffled after the first cut-off and second and third. So you have to fill out the preference list, it is a very critical point in taking admission to Delhi University. Now that you have got your name on the list you are ready for admission in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing a BSc honours geology from Ramlal Anand College, Delhi University. Do you offer geology in only two college one is mine and the second one is Hansraj College. Talking about the faculties, Hansraj do have better faculties then our but also the studying environment if you are serious is not so much great in this course. Also in the new education policy you have fourth year option also which will include your research work and if you score 75% in 4th year you can take direct admission into PHD. I guess this is much better option if you really wanna pursue the course and get a job in the same. Scholarships are provided to single girl child and orphan child. There is 10% increase in annual fees which is 25000 in the first year. Also we have smart boards in every class, no in classrooms. Comparing the classroom and the seeds the Geology department have much better classroom and seeds then the other courses.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are not mandatory at Delhi University or maybe in my course but you can apply for internships if you want to go teachers will provide you are connections to different internships you can go to if you want to apply and do the internship on your own money if it is not funded, mostly it's not.
Placement Experience :
NO PLACEMENT AT ALL, you should also not wish to get a job just after your graduation. If you want to get a job in your sector you should go for a master's and eventually PhD and higher studies. In our bsc honours geology one can go for IIT JAM for admission in several iits for MSc and Mtech degrees and from there one can be placed into a reputed company like ONGC and GAIL. Several seniors are in IITs, but there is also a check point if you want to prove IIT you have to have maths in your 12th as a science background which I do not so I am not eligible for the IIT JAM exam.
Campus Life :
If you are thinking about coming and enjoying your hostel life then you will be disappointed as there is no hostel in this college. RLA share the same sports ground with the Arya Bhatt college which is just beside. Also our campus is not too big, like if you bunk for class give me have chance you can meet your subject teacher while wandering. January to March is the first season in which different departments have their particular fests, and also the annual fest of college goes on in every college where artists are called for performance. In 2024 Ramlal Anand invited Jassi Gill and Gippy Grewal along with Babbal Rai for their performance. The fest is for 3 days, but the artist came on the last day only. Also, the college will provide a first pass for 200 rupees each if you want to bring any friend of yours who is outside of the college. Entry for college students is free.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
