I had to take computer science and if we look at the placements then it is very decent, the placement rate of the college is also good, the environment of coding is really good, seniors are very helpful, the nature of teachers is very helpful Right now there is no permanent campus, but from the next sessions, the permanent campus will be ready. Why not talk about the cut-off, it will go down a bit this year due to the recession in the IT field in each and every college.
IIIT Pune has two branches, Computer Science and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Talking about academics, there are 2 semesters in each year in which there is 2 terms and 1 exam is end semester. The level of the exam is moderate State Government and Central Government scholarships are available in college
Currently, I am in my second year. I have just passed the first year and internship opportunities are available in the third year for which I am trying. There are great internship opportunities in decent colleges, decent companies and in great companies also like Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Nomura, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc.
There are valid placement and job opportunities along with internships for college students Even if someone does not get placement, he can earn a good salary by working in any startup or business I will go to good places for placements like Bangalore and Pune city
Campus life is very good along with teddy beautiful nature because it is located in Pune city Hostel warden and security guards are also of good nature There are around 8 to 10 gloves in and the college which consists of dramatic club and music club and sports club and some other activities Wi-Fi is available in hostel and 24 hours speed of Wi-Fi is also good
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
