- The campus is great in terms of area , extra-curricular activities as well as the clubs being run by us Students which helps to learn a lot and adds a sense of responsibility on us.
- Architecture of our college feels like living in a palace as it is quite old and makes it an Heritage College. Also one of the best in Maharashtra
Dislikes
- Classrooms must be renovated with air conditioning to be a must in classrooms for us students as it gets too hot in Summers .
- Hostel and Mess food needs a lot of attention and there is a lot of scope for improvement
Remarks :
There is an entrance exam which is in general for the admission process of all colleges in Maharashtra called CET. VJTI is the best Government College in which one can get admission through CET so choose to go for it. The score mentioned above is the percentile score I achieved through CET. I didn't get the CS/IT branch as the cut-off for the same is higher. College is very good in terms of the Campus, College -life, academics, fests, and extra-curricular activities. One can rank COEP & VJTI the same rank as the top colleges of Engineering in Maharashtra. Note: IITs & NITs are excluded since they don't offer admission through the CET
Course Curriculum Overview :
So my course is Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. As far as the faculty is concerned there is a mix of experienced as well as newly joined faculties. There are special practical labs allowed by the college for our department. The instruments are almost up to date. There are over 2 exams in a semester - Sem & Endsem examinations. The difficulty level is higher than the university papers as VJTI is an autonomous college so the college itself has the right to set the syllabus, subjects as well as papers for the Semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I don't have much idea about internships as they are offered to students who have completed their third year of engineering but yes some companies offer on-campus internships and almost 50% of students get paid internships on campus. Also this year i.e. in 2024 27 students from VJTI were selected for GSOC ( internship offered by Google) on campus
Placement Experience :
The Training and Placement cell of our college is excellent. Especially for circuital branches placement is 100% with some major companies being Google, JP Morgan, HSBC bank, TCS, etc. All the data on placements is transparently shared on the college website one can easily check. Highest offers up to 1Cr! Currently, I am in my first year so let's see what happens in the future.....
Campus Life :
Being in a good college helps a lot to grow your personality as there are many fests organized by clubs. We have technical clubs like SRA(Robotics), CoC( Club of Coders), VJTI Racing, etc. Also, there are numerous non-technical clubs like Pratibimb ( Cultural club), Rangawardhan ( Marathi Cultural club), E-cell, Enthusia (Sports), DLA (Debating club) etc. Sports activities are encouraged in the college as we have a cricket as well as football ground, kho-kho & volleyball field, basketball court, and Gymkhana for indoor sports like chess, carrom & Table Tennis. All sports have their respective boys' as well as their girl's team. All the clubs are run by the Student Committee only. A hostel is a place where a college needs improvement. Apart from one 7-storey building for FYs all other year students have to somewhat adjust as the hostels are a bit old and need maintenance. Also, the food in the mess is not that great but the hygiene is taken care of. None of the girl's hostels is better!

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
