IS VJTI THE BEST COLLEGE IN MAHARASHTRA
Likes
- The first thing i like the most is the campus , its full of tree and play ground with many unique spot to spend time with friends .
- Infrastructure is also well maintained , faculty is also top class with 10+ years experience.
Dislikes
- hostel room provided for the students are very small and each room contains 4 students , they only provide one bed and desk .
- since it is a government college all the stuff related to the documentation take much time . If the complaint is done , action will be taken after months , this should be managed well mannered.
Remarks :
VJTI is one of the top college in Mumbai district , Its the achievement the get admission is VJTI , VJTI admission process is totally based on the percentile and the rank to get the the MHT CET exam. since I am in the first year so did not face the GD / interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY course may be new for some , but this course offer the machine learning of how to yarn & fabric are made . Teaching faculty are all IITIANS and DOCTORS , so the faculty are top notch. There are 2 exam per semester .
Internships Opportunities :
not applied yet. But many students get internship in second and third year depending on the skills they have . college will provide one 6 month internship in the final year with may ne payable or not .
Placement Experience :
VJTI is known for its in campus placements , many company like google , samsung , and abroad company also gives the placements . If the anybody does not get the placement the alternate plan is do MBA or any competetive exams .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Since VJTI is the government college , fees are low compered to other college. fees for open category is - 85551/- (overall fee) fee for SC /ST category is -4701/- fees for OBC (income under 1.5 lakhs) is 44551/- fees for OBC (income under 8 lakhs) is 70551/- fees for SEBC & EWS is 78051/-
Campus Life :
The campus life in VJTI is very good , campus the surrounded by many types for tree , many sports grounds are provided in the campus .Library is also provided with all type for novels and academic books too.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel are provide on the basis of merit rank , each category has limited seats, hostel fees for boys is 22000 per year , there are many PG near the college which cost around 4500-10000 per month (without mess).

Placement Experience :
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced.
