I choose the college for affordability and best college which you can get through mht-cet . In mumbai after IIT B, VJTI considered as best college placements and quality of education. For Admission you need to give mht-cet exam. cutoff varies with branch you what to opt for min 96 percentile is required to get in it.
Talking about academics you get best professors to learn from. they are very supportive and understanding professors I have every met. they take two exams per sem namely mid sem and end sem and your cgpa is depend on both the exams marks.
Many internships are offered by VJTI TPO cell that might vary with branches but almost every student get internship in 3rd year of college . students can also opt for outside internships . like many 6 cs students got selected for summer internship in google.
As much I have heard about placements from seniors and aluminis the placements are pretty good like for cs branch average package is 20L per annum and accordingly for other branch students with placements rate of around 80-90% rest all opt for masters or m.tech.
The fees structure varies with your category like open/spot round students have to pay 85551/-, for OBC 70551/-, for ST/SC 4701/- and for J&K students 28k around you can check fees structure on VJTI offical website .Talking about about scholarship college many scholarship to offer you and many more offered by aluminis. comparing to other colleges fees VJTI best and affordable.
Well I have been here from past 6 months one thing I can say is infrastructure is not great expect the college to be ,but gradually they build new infra and renovating the college classroom. now we are getting good furnished labs and classrooms.
Currently I live in hostel there are 3 hostel for boys and 3 for girls. don't know about girls hostel but talking about boys hostel among 3 only hostel 1 hostel is cleaned and provided full facilities that is pg boys hostel. but hostels are affordable with 22k per year .
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
