- overall infrastructure is good ,you can expect a good living condition and a good reputed college for your marine engineering degree
- Please dont expect a celebration atmosphere in college,this is like a militatry college that priorities your discipline.
Remarks :
You need to write 2 exams, The first one is CUSAT CAT and IMU CET. You need to score a recent score to get a good rank. It's a demanding course and lot of aspires are there, competition is high now. It's not impossible but it's bit hard. Good luck.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very demanding and it has a very high value in society. To be honest , you will get quite good respect from society and you can expect a good package. Also the course is challenging and you can learn a lot of stuffs that will help you in future journey professionally as well as personal life. The faculties hold minimum masters in their areas and the ones who is taking marine subjects are marine engineers or captains who have good sailing experience. The fee is quite high you can apply for a student loan. A lot of scholarships are their like, reliance, IMO, etc.
Internships Opportunities :
You will go through a training period after your graduation, so no need for an internship. After graduation, you must complete a 183-day propulsion period in a ship at the post of Trainee Marine Engineer. With a stipend of 300 to 500 USD per month
Placement Experience :
Placements are good, all my seniors who don't have backlogs are placed in reputed companies. Companies like Fleet,MAERSK, Synergy, MMSI , Seaspan, Seven Island, and a lot more. The normal package is 300 to 500 dollars per month for trainees after you clear your training and required exams you can expect up to 1500 USD per month. I plan to complete my course and to get placed in good company and so on
Campus Life :
discipline is very important in this course and you cant expect a lot of programmes. But this is under CUSAT, We can attend programmes conducted by other departments. Few programmes are conducted by the college itself. The library is provided in the college and you can also access to university library which is near the college hostel. Sports is a crucial part of this course, every morning you need to attend a physical training. There is also a sports team for the university, if you are talented you can be a part of that. Various groups and clubs are there to enhance your skills. NSS provide services to society and makes the students socially committed. You don't need to find another hostel as this a residential course you will allotted a room in the college hostel.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
