This college's reviews were very good and I took IP University's entrance test then only I got a seat in this college. For admission, we have an Orientation and after completing that we have to fill out some paperwork and submit the requested documents after paying the semester fees, we got in.
I chose this course as I wanted to learn core IT subjects and this was the best college around my home. Faculties are very good in terms of helping the students and mentoring the subjects to the students. Every faculty was highly experienced. All had almost 15+ years of experience in teaching.
No, there is no option for doing an internship. Companies will come for sure but for full-time roles only not for any kind of internship. If a student wants to do the internship then he will have to grab it from outside of the college.
Eligibility criteria are dependent on the company that is recruiting. Few companies need more than 70 per cent in the 12th class but mostly are need 60 per cent above in the 12th class. The average package you will get is 3 to 4 LPA. Mostly students who wanted the job, got placement from the campus only. Even I also got a placement in NLB Services.
So in JIMS college, there is one fest every year which is called "JIMS Verve" In 2020, they called Jass Manak and Anubhav Bassi and we enjoyed their performance a lot. IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
