I had done my research for colleges that offer BBA and i got to know about Atlas University which offers amazing practical learning into the world of business. To get admission to the university there are three rounds that the students have to clear- First, they need to give the online entrance exam. Secondly, they need to give an online interview. If the student gets through these 2 rounds they will be invited to the campus for the 3rd round which is the group discussion round. All the rounds for admission were easy to crack as they are based on general knowledge and understanding not bookish knowledge.
The faculty is very student-friendly. They are always ready to help the students who face difficulties with anything while they are on campus. It has a very diverse curriculum which is filled with practical knowledge and understanding through presentations and projects. They also provide specialisations in various subjects like entrepreneurship, marketing, finance and business analytics which give the students flexibility to choose what they want to study instead of subjects in which they are not at all interested.
Yes, I have opted for internships and we students get the best support from the university to get internships. They listen to every student for the domains and type of companies they want to work for and then put in their hard efforts to generate career opportunities in the companies through our college.
They always encourage and support students to work as during our summer breaks the college has set a criteria of compulsory internships during the time period and for that the university supports and assist the students to get their dream internships. After completion of the degree the university assists the students to get the best jobs at the best companies.
There are alot of clubs in the college. Each club has its own unique domain such as finance , marketing , sports , social welfare etc. Talking about the library, they have got the best books and journals for every business minded student always hungry of knowledge. There are continuous events taking place at the campus and also they arrange visits to educational places like the NSE or BANKS.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
