Let’s start with the positives, one of the good things about my college is the strong faculty members who are knowledgeable and supportive they provide valuable insights and guidance. Secondly, the hospital exposure of patients that we get as being a medical student and the type of practice we get to do. On the flip side one of the challenging aspects is the research part as one will have to submit either a review article, case studies, etc every year (non-negotiable) which can be hectic at times. Now let’s dive into the admission process, like any other medical college you will have to clear the NEET exam and will have to reach above the criteria. And once you are selected you will receive a formal letter of acceptance and they will call you to fill out the essentials. If you are aiming for DMIHER COLLEGE,make sure to check their official website and admission procedure for specific details, exam dates, and cut-off marks.
I chose medical college because, at the same time, it is a challenging yet rewarding field. A career where I can help society and work towards my strengths When it comes to faculties , they are highly qualified and knowledgeable and provide a great amount of assistance. They are some of the reputed doctors in their field. The teaching method is in the form of quizzes, seminars, GDs, etc. In terms of exams, Medical Colleges follow a strict routine and timely exam schedule to ensure students stay on track of their studies. Yes their difficulties are set Hard which provides a student to work hard Regarding the fee hike policy, it is essential to be aware of any fee change policy. Medical education can be costly including books and other expenses. It is advisable to have a clear understanding of the financial situation and how to manage your money. And lastly for scholarships- being a Deemed college there are not any scholarships but can look out for one shortly.
The internship is to be compulsory in the college hospital itself after the completion of your degree. The internship program is of 1year and stipends are between 8-10k. In your internship period, you are posted in different departments of medicine, surgery, Obgy, pediatric, emergency medicine, etc, and may have to work day-night shifts as well. But the learning opportunities are huge.
GFC- the biggest fest of DMIHER GFC is conducted in September that is Ganesh festival celebrations. It lasts for 10 days and different activities take place along these days. The latest editions of medical books, objective books, reference books, etc are available at a very good condition and can be borrowed anytime. Cricket, football, basketball, badminton, chess these are the major sports played along with others as well and have tournaments like Inergia, GFC sports tournaments etc at an inter college level. Lasts the concern of all the students and parents Hostel and the Food Well personally I’ll give 9/10 to the hostel and 8/10 for the food. Hostel are clean and maintained throughout with good wardens. Food is ok providing proper veg meal with sweets on sundays. Hygiene is maintained and quality is looked after.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
