Remarks :
I got admission to IITH after clearing my JEE Advanced with a rank of 1132 in the open and 94 in the EWS category. After that, I went through the Josaa counselling and in Round 1 I got the CSE at IITH. From there I contacted officials of the college to get info about the needed documents and necessary things. My college is excellent in terms of flexibility and diversity. The issue is with the location which is a bit outside the main city.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE due to my keen interest in computers. The faculty here are highly qualified and share the knowledge on an exceptional basis. The methods they use are modern and ensure the understanding of each student. There are 6 segments in a semester and courses are based on segments that are converted to credits. The cost is nearly 143000 per semester but there is a tuition fee waiver for SC/ST and students with low income. The exams depend on the course and they have a good difficulty level to ensure student progress.
Placement Experience :
The student must not have any backlogs. The companies that visit are google, Microsoft, cisco and more with nearly 90 per cent placement for cse. The highest and average packages are 90 and 30 lpa respectively. Out of 56 who applied for placements 52 got placed and the remaining went to higher studies
Campus Life :
The college has Elan in March, Milan in mid-August and Esummit in September these are top-notch events of IITH. There are sci-tech and cultural clubs like dance, singing, literature, art, coding, ethical hacking, and other fields of science. The library is too good with lakhs of offline books and tons of online content with AC classrooms and projectors. There are grounds for every sport and a sports complex with all indoor sports and swimming. Students run the gymkhana website, prayers and otaku club for anime lovers and much more. The food in the mess is nice and the menu keeps on updating based on the needs of both south Indian and north Indian students. Registration for a hostel is done during admission and there is nothing to do. The campus will take care of it.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
