Remarks :
I got to know about this college from my cousin who also happened to graduate from there. I was told that the college has a good faculty, a nice campus, and good courses. The admission process was quite easy and was done online. There is no entrance exam conducted for non-centralized courses like ba and the cut-off is not that high for such courses. All in the admission process was quite easy. When I got admitted to the college, it honestly didn't live up to my expectations. I wasn't happy with the infrastructure and the condition of the hostels. No SC service is provided even though there is scorching heat in Chandigarh during the summers. The teachers were okay but there is no strictness about the attendance at all . Moreover very less co curricular activities are provided to students which can help them in shaping their personality and polishing their skills. The use of phones is prohibited on the college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to do ba since I plan on joining the Indian civil services and thought it was the perfect course for that. The faculty of the college is quite nice, with only female professors since it's an all-girls college. The teaching methods are good but the classes could be more equipped to enhance the experience of learning for the students . Mid-semester tests of 50 marks and final exams are conducted each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not opt for any internships. However many students get internships in good companies through the college. I knew some friends from psychology who were doing internships and we're quite satisfied with it.
Placement Experience :
I've heard the placement and job opportunities for the students of psychology are quite good. I have completed my graduation and the result for the 6th sem awaits. Now I plan on doing my masters in political science from pu . Mcm doesn't offer a master's in political science which is weird again.
Campus Life :
The Meraki fest is conducted every year which attracts students from different colleges and universities to visit it. The college library needs to be updated and expanded and students are not allowed to take their books inside the college library which is quite weird. I would see NCC students practicing regularly on the college grounds. There are different groups like dancing, LGBTQ, English, acting, etc The dance group Average is quite popular among the students. For the hostel, the rooms need to be equipped with AC and the in time needs to be extended which is currently only 5-6 pm. Students from other States usually rent places to live in sectors 35, 36, or 37.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
