Likes
- There is no uniform for the Engineering students . But we should maintain Formal dress code.
- As a day scholar I use to travel my home to college via BMTC bus, and our college is very near to the bus stop.
Dislikes
- Our college has only two Block(A block for Master's and B block for Bachelor's) and it does not have any playground inside the campus.
- The projectors are not working in so me classes, if need to present then we need to shift to other class.
Remarks :
Things I liked about the College are the Placement they Provide and the companies that visited our college in the previous year were in good numbers, and while I was joining the college the average package was 6 LPA. I joined the college through the KCET entrance exam. The fee that I paid during my admission is 99023. There were no Group Discussions or Interview rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties in Dayananda Sagar University use the study materials that have been prescribed by our department HOD, which are easily understandable by the students. I have applied Student Scholarship (SSP) which was from the government side, and yearly I used to get around 18,000 Rs. The college fees were 99023 Rs for every year.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship during my 8th semester, in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited as a trainee intern, for 6 weeks, which is mandatory for every student to do in the last semester. Our college provided fewer internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th Semester, the students will be eligible to attend the college campus placement, we should manage placement and the academics at the same time. The companies that visited our college and the number of students they hired are, EdgeVerve - 139. Capgemini - 117, Accenture - 84, Tata Elxsi - 41, the highest package was 12 LPA offered by company ANZ, the percentage of students get placed is around 45-50 %
Campus Life :
As I was a day scholar, I used to travel to college by the BMTC bus. In our college, there is a dance club with the name Abhinaya club. They conduct dance programs and competitions. They also participate in inter-college competitions. In our college, there is no playground, so they conduct only indoor games such as chess, carrom, table tennis, etc.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
