In Mumbai DG Ruparel College is a well-reputed college as it provides various courses in science, commerce, and arts, the environment and campus of the college is superb! and various events are organized by the college in sports, culture, innovation, creativity, and many more, college is just at 2 min distance from Matunga road station and 10 min from Matunga station which provides good connectivity, cons of college is the infrastructure of the college is old, not modern, there is no lift in college so you have to take long stares, to get into this college you have fill Mumbai university form as well as college form available in the college office , cutoff will be displayed in college notice board after 10 days for different courses according to reservation, minorities, etc then you have to apply according to cutoff once done result will be displayed on notice board within 10 days there will be three rounds if u allotted the seat you have to confirm admission by paying fees within due date.
There many courses provided by the college in science, commerce, and arts, and there are also other bifocal, technical courses are provided by the college, teaching faculty at Ruparel is excellent and always supports students, helping them to solve their problems and various events in sports, culture, innovation, and art are organized by the college in their academics, unit exams are mostly conducted by the college but semester exams are conducted by mumbai university through college and difficulty level is moderate.
To get good placement you have to maintain your cgpa above 8 and you have to prepare your own unique research papers avg package is about 4 lpa and highest is 10 lpa mostly high package offers to bsc cs it and finance students mostly 70 percent students get placed mostly the recruiters are finance and it companies.
College life is superb in Ruparel College as college has very beautiful campus full of flowers and trees it also has playground, basket ball court and cricket court,it also has botanical garden which is very beautiful, various events are organised by college like "aramb fest" which is organised in Jan month college also has library, reading room which provides all books and journals ther is also hostel for boys only.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
