Likes
- The thing I like about my college is the infrastructure as they have made 9 different block or buildings in which the classes occurs, I know that the campus is small but the infrastructure is the think that I like i.e. the idea of the different blocks for different streams.
- The faculty of the college is also very nice some of them are not that much good but the majority of the faculty is very nice and also helps the students and guide them to get different opportunities.
Dislikes
- The campus area of the college is not very big as the for the sports thing the ground of the college is very small and they do not have different ground for the management students as the management college and the technology College shares the same ground despite they have different buildings they should have have different ground also
- The area of the college is 6-8 km far from the metro station which is some drawback also I think the college should be near to the metro station so that the students can easily go to the college. You can take e-rickshaws from the metro station and they charge 20-30 rupees and drop them but it will be good if the college is located near the metro station
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college are its learning environment and its past year placements that is why I have chosen this college. No, I didn't face any discussions, Interviews but I was given the exam jee mains from which I got a rank due to which I chose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I think the fees are a little bit on the higher side for a middle-class person but if talk about the scholarship there is one scholarship which comes every year and it has a criteria that the total salary of the person should be less than 300000 for a year than this scholarship works. The course is pretty similar for all the ipu students the syllabus is also available on the ggsipu website and in my opinion the syllabus is pretty easy but it doesn't mean that u will only study when on the exams, you should start your studies least one month before the exams to get 9 and above cgpa, if we talk about the faculties some faculties are very good but some are not that much good they will explain u the syllabus but some teachers are very much good as they did not only teach about the syllabus but also about the competition and the things we should do to get a good placement. Many counselling session also occurs in the auditorium to guide the students.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done one internship from the company Octanet which I have found off campus and also many internship companies come to our college in the third as my third is likely to begin in August. To get the internship opportunity u should know about the skills very clearly that u have done and also have done good projects on the same.
Placement Experience :
The placements of the college are kind of the good side as many companies come to the college to place the students. Some internship companies also come to the college so that the students can get experience from the internship. To sit in the placement one person should get more than 7.5 cgpa overall which is very easy if little hard work is done. The highest package is 51 lpa off campus and the lowest one is 3-5 lpa which is mostly offered by the mass hiring companies.
Campus Life :
Life on campus is very good as u have so much to explore in the college u can join any society as many societies are present in the college. Every year fest also occurs as in 2024 the fest of MAIT raftaar comes to perform on the stage. The hostel is made inside of the campus and there is a separate building for the hostel but the charges for the hostel are quite high and the mess food is also very good and of quality. The fest is conducted in February or March and the name of "Tech Surge and Mridang". They provide a book bank in which they provide books which he or she will need in the semester and after the semester he/she has to return the book and can take the book for the next semester. Many sports and extracurricular activities happen in our college as well as the NCC. There are many options near the college to get PG or to get a flat with your friends.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
