The college has been operating for a 10pyrs now and has had quite a good reputation that I've heard from many lawyers both within and outside Pune. As expected from any law college, ILS provides a lot of resources and support to students for placements and competitions. For admission, you simply need to take the MHCET BALLB or MHCET LLB exam and score above at least 205.
The first two years of the BALLB course only involved arts subjects mostly but had law integrated into them. The course also allowed students to participate in any law competition (barring first years of any course) such as counseling, moot court, advocacy, arbitration, etc
No, I have not yet applied for internships, however from what I can gather the college offers attendance credits for the amount of days a student interns meaning the students need not worry about attendance while they are interning. Moreover, they have a likely chance of getting a paid internship if they apply.
I am only in 3rd year so I do not know much, however, what I can gather is that placements are given to almost every student who opts for it and the placements received are very good with top placements going for 20Lpa.
Social life within the college can be found in events that are organized by the student body or the college itself. Other than that ILS is near many restaurants, cafes, etc. The college also has a sports complex, pool, and gym near its classrooms which the students can visit.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
