Life at JNEC: A Student’s Perspective
Likes
- I like the campus area of our college the most. The lawn area located at the middle/centre of our college building is my favourite spot to pass time during free time. Overall the campus area, the classrooms, labs and the corridors are well maintained. Cleanliness is maintained at all times.
- The students’ branches in our college are very very active, they keep on hosting events and workshops at all times to help students grow and learn skills other than the academic syllabus. Organising these events and being a part of them by participating helps us learn a lot things.
Dislikes
- The cultural activities in this college are not regular or in a sufficient amount consistent to the technical events. The hosting annual gathering is not regular and it lasts only a day or two and no other cultural activities are hosted in the college.
- College does not give enough of holidays between semester changes or before end semester exams. No PLs are given and you need to manage studies of the end semester exams with the full time ongoing college time table.
Remarks :
The positives about the admission process in this college are that the process is not too complicated it’s easy to understand and go through, and there is not a high cut-off to get admitted to this college. And being a private college the seats are filled on a first come first serve basis. The negative is that your marks/score in JEE or CET doesn’t matter much so, there’s not any intelligence level that is required to get admission here anyone and everyone can get into this college as long as they can manage to pay the fee.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted for this course as I had an undying interest in the field of information technology and computer science. The faculty present that teaches the students is good, all of them are well qualified most of the faculty members have either completed their PHD or are completing their PHD. The staff is also friendly and it’s not hard at all to approach them for any help we need, all of them try their best to understand and resolve the student’s doubts. The end semester exams take place timely almost after 4-5 months from the day a new semester starts and the difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high. It’s not very hard for a student who manages to study an hour or two every day throughout the semester can score well in the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for any internship yet. But our college does its best to keep us updated by providing information about most of the internship opportunities available in our domain. The faculty also helps us by guiding us on how to apply for these internships and also does not hesitate at all to help us do our best in the opted internship.
Placement Experience :
College does provide a decent amount of options during its campus placement rounds. There are a few companies that approach this college each year during the placement rounds and there are always other new companies that keep on approaching the college for recruiting fresh undergraduates. If I fail to secure a job during the campus placement rounds I plan to search for a job by myself by taking the help of online job-finding and connection platforms like LinkedIn or by looking out for job vacancies in the companies around me and applying at the right time. I also plan to keep on sending cold messages or emails to the companies I wish to work for and let them know my interest and will to work for them.
Campus Life :
The campus infrastructure is good, the classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, and all the labs have centralized air conditioning. There are enough open wide spaces for students to pass the time during the break. Our college does have an annual gathering called “Razzmatazz” which consists of all kinds of Sports and Cultural activities, it usually takes place around March-April. There are various student bodies like IEEE and GDSC which are run by students who keep on conducting a wide range of activities throughout the semester like technical and nontechnical workshops, etc. Sports amenities are also available, we have our swimming pool, our own cricket and football grounds so, the students who are interested in playing get a great chance to represent the college and the city.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.
CSD at KKWIEER: A perfect blend of tech and creativity

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
