JNEC Admission Process

Admission to every course at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College is based on merit secured in the relevant qualifying entrance examination. The entrance requirement differs by course, and candidates are considered through the applicable examination or admission process.

  1. For B.E./B.Tech admission, candidates need Maharashtra Common Entrance Examination MHT-CET or JEE Main scores.
  2. For B.Tech Lateral Entry, selection is based on merit and the Common Admission Process.
  3. For B.Arch admission, candidates are required to qualify through NATA, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture.
  4. For M.Tech admission, GATE and the pre-qualifying examination are considered.
  5. For M.Arch admission, selection is based on merit in the pre-qualifying examination.
  6. For MCA admission, candidates need MAMI-MCA-CET or MAH-MCA-CET scores.
