The first good thing about Kirori Mal College is that it holds a good Nirf ranking. This college is in the top rankings for humanities courses. It has secured Nirf rank 1 in the latest Ba prog. ( Political Science). Good teaching staff, friendly environment, etc. I got my admission through cuet counselling last year. For humanities subjects, this is one of the best colleges in India. The cut-off for Ba prog for the general category is above 710+. Overall, it is a good college. Feel free to choose this college for both girls and boys. Safe environment and has no ragging. Helpful students.
I choose this course for civil services preparation. Semester exams are conducted after every 4-5 months. It is a government college so the fees are also lower. Scholarships are also available at our college faculty members are highly educated and experienced. I got a PMS scholarship also which is why my fees are zero and showing zero in a few receipts that I uploaded.
No, I've not opted for any internship and in my course, there is no placement. For BA prog students, there are fewer internships. I'm not interested in an internship that's why I didn't enrol. For other courses, there are more internship choices. It depends on students to choose
Good placement and job opportunities in our college for skill courses not in Ba prog. Various companies visited our college to do so. The highest package is 25 lpa and the minimum is 12 lpa. My plan after getting the degree is civil services preparation.
There is a boys' hostel in our college. A well-designed library also.Clean environment. The annual fest was also celebrated there - Renaissance in March - April. Sports activities are also available. Various societies are also in our college to explore new things and gain knowledge. Hostel fees are 58,500 per year. The food quality is good. I live in PG near kamla nagar market, and my cost of living is 12000 per month.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
