I got into this college through mhcet Due to rank inflation in 2023 I chose this college but it's pretty decent, It's as good as I expected overall it's a good college, campus is big compared to other Mumbai University colleges
I'm interested in computer stuff so my father suggested I do engineering and here I am doing this course the faculty are well qualified but some aren't, The exams and curriculum are based on Mumbai University as it is Mumbai University affiliated college.
Aicte internships have been offered to everyone by the college internship they will start their internship within a month and will give the updates it's a free internship with certificates provided for roles.
They have recently made a tie-up with an IT company for an internship for their students and I have enrolled in it let's see what happens will update you about it companies like Mahindra Tech jsw Axis Bank etc have visited and offered 12lpa and 5lpa not everyone selected for placements as Every other college do.
Fests and functions are done in the months of feb and March it's start in December ending when sports events are announced and from January to February to March they have social fests and functions, they have wifi on campus but it's temporarily removed due to misuse by our seniors, libraries are big enough for everyone they give books on a library card for free college has there own social media IDs on the platform they have student association made for every branch with proper funds given to them with posts like president chairman and all
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
