- There are too many exams conducted. Almost every month you have to give exams.
- Mess quality can be enhanced. There is no PG seats.
Remarks :
The college was established in 1961. The infrastructure is too good plus there is a newly constructed Super specialty hospital and emergency department. Clinical exposure is too good even better than Rims Ranchi. You have to score around 620 if you’re from the General and OBC categories and 500+ for SC/ST in the NEET exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was my childhood dream to serve as a doctor. Professors and teaching staff are highly qualified and very helpful. 3 terminal exams occur in a year and then you have to appear in the final exam. 50% Passing criteria is required but from 2024 it has been reduced to 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate marks. Fees are very low as it is a full government college. You can avail of various central scholarships as per your rank or state scholarships like e Kalyan.
Internships Opportunities :
At present, I’m in 3rd year part 1. The internship is required only after completing the 3rd Proff part 2. A year internship is a must for every student. 17500 per month stipend is given by the Jharkhand government.
Placement Experience :
After completion of a year internship, there are many options you can go for NEET PG or USMLE… some join as Junior residents in the hospital and at the same time prepare for NEET PG. Almost all students who seek jobs after completing MBBS are placed within a month. You can also apply for Medical Officer.
Campus Life :
The campus environment is very friendly. All the seniors are nice. The annual fest ( Antraagni ) occurs every year in January. This year Mohd Irfan and Rajat Sood came to perform. One central Library is also available where you find lots of books and journals. You can access 8 Am to 9 pm in the Library. There is one common Cricket and football ground, Two badminton courts, one volleyball court, and Two common rooms where you play various indoor games such as Table tennis Carrom Chess Dart etc. 4 hostels each for boys and girls. Separate hostel for fresher batch and interns. Single room is available after 1st year. Hostel quality is good. Mess food is okay but you can always customize your money by giving extra money to Mess workers.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
